My wife received a beautiful leather designer handbag as a gift and fell in love with it...except the harsh zipper. It was quite hard to pull and she needed to do a lot of work to close / open it.
She called the manufacturer and was told to try hot candle wax...IT ACTUALLY WORKED!
Just be careful not to get the wax on the fabric of the purse or material. This method works like a charm. Her zipper opens and closes smoothly and she gets to keep the purse too...
