Yesterday, it was quite hot here in WNY (which stands for Western New York, for those unfamiliar with the area) and Karen came in the office with a lovely white summer dress. She looked very nice but stated that it was inappropriate to wear white after Labor Day. Then why did she wear it, I asked. "Just because," she replied, "it's supposed to be a hot day today and I would rather be comfortable than appropriate!"
