We were quite surprised to find that
burgundy leather portfolio turns up different results compared to typing
burgandy leather portfolio in Google. In fact, being cognizant of the fact that color and colour are correct variations of the same word (spelled differently on each side of the Atlantic ocean), we still were amazed to find that people are likely to spell the word "burgundy" as "burgandy" and both spellings seem to be used often in searches.
Google still prompts for the former spelling by the way, when a searcher uses "burgandy."
What to do when selling burgundy (or burgandy) colored leather goods and gifts? Well, we just stick with burgundy for now but are really thinking of adding burgandy to some of the product options and / or descriptions so as to cater to all our potential customers who are prone to searching for
burgandy leather gifts versus
burgundy leather gifts!
